Damon leads Today towards our mission to make a real difference.

After studying psychology and philosophy, Damon spent his early career working within the disability and aged care sector. Working both in outmoded institutionalised care and progressive accommodation and recreation programs, he saw the real impact of systems and services on people's lives.

Damon made a change and pursued his passion for coding and technology. An early member of DT (now AKQA), he spent a decade as a technology leader within one of the country’s leading digital agencies. Here he cut his teeth architecting large-scale solutions for national and international brands and embracing human-centred and product development approaches.

With Today, Damon has sought to bring the very best of design, innovation and technology to the critical challenges and vast opportunity within the social, sustainability and public sectors.

A firm devotee of Mark Strand’s wisdom “the future is always beginning now”, he remains restless and energised to design a radically better, fairer, sustainable tomorrow.
