John Broadfoot

Interaction Design Lead

John has worked in senior design roles in both Melbourne and London. His first project with Today was shaping the design behind a prioritisation tool for Key Assets Children’s Services Provider in Norfolk Island.

He led the design of a new website and complaint form interface for the Victorian Ombudsman, simplifying the complaints process for thousands of Victorians. John has also been involved in Today’s work with the Brotherhood of St Laurence’s website revamp, as well as Sustainability Victoria’s online tool which helps people understand grant and finance options.

In previous roles, John worked on digital redevelopments for Mercy Health, REA Group Ltd, Guide Dogs Victoria and Deakin University’s Centre for Humanitarian Leadership.

Easy-going and a strong communicator, John works closely with clients to build quality relationships. Driven by creativity and a desire to produce impactful work, he loves being hands-on with his craft. John enjoys collaborating within Today’s multidisciplinary team and has become a mentor to younger designers.
