Committed to making Australia a fairer, thriving country, Karen uses 20 years of communication, stakeholder engagement and marketing expertise to bring people together for meaningful collaboration. Her tenacity means ideas always turn into action, as she captures the big picture and moves towards a satisfying result for both her team and client.

Having led program implementation for politically and publicly sensitive initiatives as well as many marketing and change programs for organisations faced with disruption, she is also a seasoned director in media, communications, stakeholder engagement and revenue development. Karen developed engagement strategies for organisations ranging from the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Centre to the Nine television network. She led the implementation for Australia’s My Health Record expansion, working closely with peak bodies, government and the community to ensure every Australian could exercise their right to opt-out.

Karen is undertaking a Masters of Design Futures at RMIT to discover new ways human-centred design can solve complex problems.
